When Your Living Room is Your Studio

(This is not my living room. I wish)

I admit, it, sometimes I really want my studio to be private. It's after work and I'm just not presentable to, you know, humans. But, sinc I'm not a celeb, that means my trainer is virtual and my classmates are imaginary or a dog-shaped roadblock.

What that does lack, though, is the escapism of leaving home. So, how do you play pretend?

I've tried setting a time for myself, but I've had better luck telling myself I'll "go to class" when x task is done. So, I make sure my workout clothes are laid out (no self-consciousness at home, so dress up!) and do a mental pre-game. Visualize your fitspo star, goals, whatever.

And, the practical tip of the year. ALWAYS pre-load any streaming or YouTube workout. Playback woes just...womp womp womp.

Then, hit play and enjoy. How do you workout at home?
